The mission of our team is to enhance the dissemination of technology by actively sharing the latest technological innovations with the wider community. We are committed to fostering a deeper understanding of these advancements and making them accessible to everyone. Through collaboration, education, and hands-on experiences, we strive to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and everyday learners, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the future.
Our goals are to increase volunteering awareness among students, build a group of qualified members who demonstrate strong social responsibility and leadership potential, and enhance both technical and soft skills. We aim to inspire, enable, and empower students to pursue and strengthen their technical interests, preparing them for future success.
IEEE BUSB (Benha University Student Branch) at Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, proudly founded in 2006. Our mission is aligned with IEEE's global vision of advancing technology for humanity. We aim to cultivate innovation, leadership, and technical expertise among students in fields such as electrical, electronics, computing, and other related sciences that drive modern civilization forward. Since our establishment, we've been dedicated to creating a platform for students to engage with cutting-edge technologies through hands-on projects, competitions, and collaborative learning opportunities. By organizing regular events, workshops, and technical talks, we help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications. Our continuous efforts focus on enhancing the learning experience of our members, providing them with the skills and tools necessary to become future leaders in technology. We're constantly working hard to support our community, and we take pride in hosting events that not only educate but also inspire students to push boundaries and contribute meaningfully to society.
Joining our team offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers, gain hands-on experience in technology and leadership, and network with professionals. Whether you're passionate about AI, web development, or robotics, there's a place for you here!
Over the decades, the technologies under IEEE's scope expanded globally, touching more aspects of people's lives. Its predecessor institutions evolved into IEEE Societies, and by the early 21st century, IEEE had 38 Societies, 130 publications, over 300 annual conferences, and 900 active standards. As computers advanced and connected globally, IEEE's interests grew beyond electrical engineering to fields like nanotechnology, bioengineering, robotics, and more. With technologies crossing national boundaries, IEEE became a global institution, serving members worldwide through digital services, with over 395,000 members in 160 countries by 2010.
